Ever buy an expensive jar or tube of a purifying clay mask only to have it dry up after only a few uses? Well fret no more as you can make the clay mask just before each usage.
Clay masks are great for absorbing excess oil and drawing out other impurities from within the pores of the skin.
Using clay masks on a weekly basis also helps with refining the pores to prevent future break outs.
If you find that every week is too much, use them just before a hormonal change or even a up and coming stressful event will help with minimizing break outs.
Floral Clay Mask Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp powdered green clay
- 1 tbsp glycerin
- 1 tsp lavender floral water or rose water
Mix all ingredients together into a thick paste. Before you apply the mask, ensure the face and neck has been cleanse properly. Apply the mask with clean fingertips but avoid the eye area. Allow the mask to dry for at least 10 minutes and rinse throughly with warm water. Pat the skin gently to dry and proceed with the moisturizer routine.
