Ultra Rich Soothing Rose Hand Cream

For Dry hands

IMG_8189Our hands touch so many things through out the day and with each touch you can loose the essential oils leaving it harder to maintain proper moisture levels. Even washing hands can strip the oils so it’s best to reapply moisture periodically throughout the day. The best way to do that is to make it easily accessible and in lots of locations like your purse, car, office and bathrooms. I like to keep trial sizes in tiny locations and larger sizes in rooms.

Creating the ultra rich soothing rose hand cream can be perfect to place in travel size to go bottles for everyday usages.  You can find most of these ingredients at local health food stores and even some grocery stores.

Ultra Rich Soothing Rose Hand Cream

  • 1 tsp almond oil
  • 1 tsp shea nut butter
  • 1 tbsp emulsifying wax
  • 2 fl oz mineral water
  • 1 tsp glycerin
  • 6 drops geranium essential oil
  • 6 drops Rose chamomile essential oil

Empty Jar for CreamsTo create the Ultra Rich Soothing Rose Hand Cream, melt together the oils through the emulsion process by mixing the oils, waxes and water together in a water bath. Create a water bath by placing the oils, waxes and waters together in a glass bowl that is larger than a sauce pan. Place enough water in the saucepan to cover the bottom of the glass bowl. Gently heat up the ingredients to allow them to blend easily together.

Once the ingredients are mixed thoroughly together take a spatula to help gather each ounce of the mixture to place in a glass sealable jar.  Allow the mixture to set at room temperature before the jar is sealed.  This can be stored for up to 30 days on the shelf.
