Anti-Aging Coconut Shea Body Butter Recipe

Anti-Aging Coconut Shea Body Butter Recipe Tools:

1 small glass sealable jar for the final product
1 medium glass bowl
1 medium saucepan
1 mixer (regular or hand)
1 rubber spatula
Label sticker

Anti-Aging Coconut Shea Body Butter Recipe Ingredients:

½ cup shea butter
⅛ cup jojoba oil
½ cup coconut oil
10 drops pomegranate essential oil
10 drops frankincense essential oil
10 drops lavender essential oil

Anti-Aging Coconut Shea Body Butter Recipe Directions:

To create the Anti-Aging Coconut Shea Body Butter, melt together the shea butter, jojoba oil and coconut oil (be sure to leave out the essential oils) through the emulsion process. Create the emulsion process by placing the ingredients in a glass bowl that is larger than a sauce pan. Place enough water in the saucepan to cover the bottom of the glass bowl, creating a water bath. Gently heat up the ingredients to allow them to blend easily together.

Once the ingredients are mixed thoroughly, allow the mixture to set at room temperature and then move to the refrigerator for an hour to solidify.  Once the mixture solidifies then let it sit out for another hour until it reaches room temperature.  Then use a mixer to beat the oils until they are whipped and fluffy.  Gently add in the essential oils.  Once thoroughly mixed, use a spatula to help gather the mixture place in a glass sealable jar.  This can be stored at room temperature for up to 30 days.

Place your container of Rosy Shea Butter Lip Balm in a cool dark place. It will keep up to 3 months when using all organic ingredients.
